Caroline Tetschner - Screenwriter & Executive Producer

Caroline Tetschner, current CEO of Bravo Zulu Productions, has dedicated 27 years to the Navy and Navy Reserve, enlisting at the age of 17 and retiring at the rank of Commander. In her civilian career, she worked as an anchor and reporter for various PBS and NPR stations, covering a wide range of topics from the 2000 Gore/Bush election to interviews with notable figures such as President Clinton, John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson.

Upon joining the Navy, Caroline became aware of the legacy of "Z Grams" and Admiral Zumwalt. The post-Vietnam era represented a significant period of transformation for Navy personnel, particularly for women and people of color. As a veteran who has a deep affection for the Navy and grew up within its ranks, she recognized the necessity of sharing this vital narrative, not only to showcase the Navy's advancements but also to reflect the relatable human struggles for equal opportunity and freedom.
